Impressionism - Manet

To the left is a oil painting reproduction of one of Manet’s still lives. This one is of two raw fish to be prepared. This painting was a challenge for me because I had never used the large amount of paint nor thickness before in an oil painting.

I found a way to have multiple colors and values in one brush stroke while simultaneously creating a true representation of the subjects in the painting.
